Where possible, contributors should include sources, dates, locations, names of relevant institutions and supporting evidence. Personal testimony and lived experience are welcome, but serious claims about individuals or organisations should be supported by evidence where available.
Africa Realities Media may edit submissions for clarity, grammar, accuracy, length, readability and legal safety before publication.
How to Submit

We Particularly Welcome the Following Contributors
Country Contributors
People who write from or about specific African countries, including local political, social, economic and human rights realities.
Diaspora Contributors
African voices in the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, the United States and elsewhere who can connect African realities with international policy, advocacy and diaspora experience.
Lived Experience and Testimonial Contributors
Refugees, survivors, affected families, exiles, displaced people and community members whose experiences can help the public understand the human cost of injustice, conflict and silence.
Youth Contributors
Young Africans writing about politics, jobs, education, migration, justice, digital life, identity, leadership and the future of Africa.
Human Rights Contributors
Activists, researchers, campaigners, journalists and civil society workers who can document abuses, explain patterns of injustice and amplify affected communities.
French-Language Contributors
Writers who can produce or translate content for francophone African readers, especially from the Great Lakes Region, Central Africa and the African diaspora.
Why Your Voice Matters
Africa’s realities should not be told only by governments, foreign institutions, lobbyists or mainstream media. People closest to injustice often understand the problem more clearly than those who speak about it from a distance.
By contributing to Africa Realities Media, you can help expose hidden stories, challenge silence, inform public debate and support a more honest conversation about Africa, justice, human rights, democracy, conflict, governance and international accountability.
